CVC Squash team cruise through to Stage Two in National Schools' Competition

The Boys Under-15 CVC team have completed a hat-trick of emphatic victories with a 4-1 win over Oakham School. The match, played at Comberton, saw a debut appearance for David Snelling, promoted from the reserves to play at no. 5. David fought well throughout, losing 3-2 in a see-saw match. From then on CVC enjoyed a pretty comfortable time, with Tom Blair, Sam Bradshaw, Will Collett, and Alex Gooding all recording 3-0 wins to see us through as group winners in Stage One. We have a bye in the first round of Stage Two, followed by what promises to be a tough match against either Cheltenham College or Wycliffe College in the New Year.
